Parker Meyer

Heyo, my name is Parker Meyer, I am 16 years old. I am in 11th grade and attend Paul D. Schreiber High School. I have been with the time for all the years we have been competing even though I was too young to join the team the first few years I went to the meetings and observed how and why everything was done. I believe I joined the team mainly because my two older sisters Holland and Juliet (yes, the very same one on the team now) were part of the team and I wanted to be on it too. So I was just like them. When most of the team aged out of FLL we moved up to this program (FTC) although I was still part of the team in a different FIRST competition I would still go to the competitions for FLL to volunteer. I was mainly a referee with my sister Juliet. I don’t practice in very many clubs, but one of the clubs I do is the drama club and I am also a girl scout. I do not play any sports now, even though I had played soccer in middle school. After school I go to work as a babysitter/tutor. The boy I babysit, his name is Nate, a 6 year old in 1st grade. When I am not doing school work, working or doing other activities, I enjoy watching movies, playing Minecraft or Xbox with my friends or sister, reading or sleeping. Things I am interested in include making jewelry, cosplaying at New York Comic Con once a year, and in general doing day crafts. Some of my favorite foods include my dad’s Christmas lasagna, homemade mac’n’cheese and baklava. My favorite are pink, mac’n’cheese, teal, and cyan. I believe one of the coolest things I have done is go to Florida and California to compete in a FLL tournament with other teams from around the world and United States. Some of the people I look up to are the people in my family. They always know what to say and what to do. It really inspires me to try to be a better person. As for my plans for the future I don’t really have anything planed out.
